Rolands Zigurs specializes in intellectual property rights, as well as data protection and AML/CTF.
Rolands is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist and a member of the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists.
He has gained significant experience and knowledge about IP rights of media and entertainment industries while studying for his master’s degree at the University of Southern California. While studying at the USC, Rolands obtained a certificate in “Media & Entertainment Law” acknowledging his expertise in IP rights of modern technologies and in the development of the digital world.
Rolands also holds a master’s degree with merit from Riga Graduate School of Law in International and European Law.
Rolands teaches Art Law in Riga Graduate School of Law, and he is a mentor in Magnetic Latvia Incubator for Creative Industries, where he counsels rising entrepreneurs on trademarks, design rights, copyrights, as well as data protection and development of IP strategy.
